Crystal River / October Fishing

These guys had a great time battling big Spanish mackerel off marker 1A in Crystal River. The mackerel are so thick we lost as many as we caught. were using 30 to 50lb test fluorocarbon leader and floating a shrimp under a cork. A 1/4oz jig w/ a gulp worked as well. The redfish are holding on the outer bars and mangrove islands the red's very from rats to bulls. October is a great month to fish and the redfish are in abundances.
